MARTIGNETTI COMPANIES WOMEN’S BEVERAGE ALCOHOL SYMPOSIUM
ON APRIL 4, Martignetti Companies hosted its 5th Annual Women’s Beverage Alcohol Symposium at Bentley University and welcomed over 2OO attendees from the restaurant industry, retail wine and spirits businesses, wholesalers and distributors, and winery and spirits companies for a day of networking, learning new skills and inspiring their colleagues in the industry. This year’s theme “Charting Your Course” encouraged women in the industry to thoughtfully plan their paths for success.
Each year, the symposium has grown, featuring high profile motivational speakers from across the industry. Deirdre Mahlan, President of Diageo North America, motivated the audience to push beyond preconceived boundaries and Keynote, Jeffery Tobias Halter, President of YWomen, made the profitability case for advancing women across organizations. This year included a philanthropic volunteer element at the Greater Boston Food Bank where over twenty symposium attendees took time to collectively sort and box 475O meals, enough for a family of four for one year. On top of the donated time, a check donation presented from Gallo, Tito’s and Martignetti to the Food Bank by Janell Dubsky, Vice President of Human Resources and Jillian Capone, Business Analyst in the Commonwealth Division of Martignetti Companies.
Special thanks to the founding Board Members: Freddy Cicerchia, Laurel Conrad, Jessica Cyr, Carol Francolini, Tricia Murphy, Nicole Olivier and Alex Stack, as well as our supportive Subcommittee Members: Maureen Candito Jillian Capone, Jessica Cioci, Jen Linskey, Janell Dubsky, Nicole Sobel and Caitlin Steiger who take time out of their busy schedules to make this day a success!
