Truck driving is one of America’s most essential and demanding jobs. Martignetti Companies joins the nation in recognizing and thanking America’s 3.6 million professional men and women who travel more than 421 billion miles a year and safely transport and deliver seventy percent of all goods in the United States. They deliver vital goods such as food for our homes, medical supplies for the healthcare industry and fuel for our vehicles. Our supply chain would be nonexistent without the invaluable services of these men and women.
This year’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week has taken on a new meaning as we continue to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. Our drivers and warehouse workers have seamlessly continued delivering necessary goods to our customers. We believe our team is the best in the industry. Their commitment to safety and service is central to the success of our business. Over the past year we have deployed more than 11,000 trucks, traveled more than 1.7 million miles, and safely delivered approximately 9.1 million cases to our customers. Thanks to our dedicated staff, we have been able to meet our delivery goals and customers’ expectations.
September 12th through the 18th is National Truck Driver Appreciation week. Founded in 1998 by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), National Truck Driver Appreciation Week highlights how critical trucking is to our nation’s economy. Martignetti will celebrate its team throughout the week to recognize their hard work and dedication to the Company.
“We wish to express our most sincere, heartfelt thanks to every one of our drivers, warehouse and sales teams who remained in the field and continued to service our customers and communities who depend on us. You are all setting an extraordinary example of commitment, professionalism, and camaraderie,” said Edward DeVito, SVP Warehouse and Delivery Operations.
