Underdog Wine Merchants is releasing a collection of artisan wines in a new 3L wine cask format.  Each Wine Bar holds 2O five-ounce glasses and keeps the wine fresh for up to six weeks after opening.  The wines in the collection are: Monthaven Central Coast Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; Silver Birch New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc; Boho Vineyards California Old Vine Zinfandel; Pinot Evil Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio; Big House Red and White; and Seven, produced from seven Spanish red varietals.  The first wine to be released in the new packaging is the Monthaven Central Coast Chardonnay.  The packaging holds the equivalent of four bottles for the price of three and reduces package waste by 92% carbon emissions by 55% compared to glass bottles.  Suggested retail is $22 to $24.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company.
