Jonas Renner Tahlin has been named Vice President of Marketing-Vodkas.  Renner Tahlin was previously Regional Vice President/Commercial Director-Americas for The Absolut Company.  In his new role he will be responsible for further enhancing Absolut’s marketing strategy and translating that strategy into execution.  In 2OO6, he was recruited to head up the European business of Vin & Sprit (the former owner of Absolut).  Also, Tim Murphy has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President-Marketing Innovation.  Murphy, previously VP Marketing-Vodkas and Gins for Pernod Ricard USA, also led Absolut Marketing in the US for the past seven years.  Prior to that he was with Diageo for many years.
