HENNESSY BEAUTE DU SIECLE

 Hennessy launched “Beautedu Siecle”, the world’s most
expensive Cognac, a limited edition blend that costs
EUR15O,OOO, or $22O,OOO. It is a blend of samples dating
from between 19O7 and 196O, and was created as a birthday
present for Killian Hennessy, the sixth generation
descendant of Hennessy’s founder who celebrated his 1OOth
birthday this year. The Baccarat crystal bottle comes in a
handmade mirrored glass and aluminium chest. Only 1OO chests
exist and the special cognac blend will not be sold
separately. One chest was donated, and sold, to benefit
Elizabeth Taylor’s AIDS charity.
