GLENDALOUGH ROSE GIN

The Irish distiller has released this new small batch rose gin made using fresh wild ingredients, picked in the mountains around their distillery. To make the gin, Glendalough has rebalanced their Wild Botanical Gin recipe and redistilled it with extra fruit, flowers and spices, and fresh rose petals. Three varieties of rose are used: the rare Wild Rose from the Wicklow mountains, large fragrant Heritage Roses and the ancient Damask Rose. On the nose, the gin is very aromatic, with soft juniper notes, perfumed with fresh rose. The taste is gentle with sweet spice, Turkish delight with hint of citrus.
