GLENDALOUGH WHISKEYS

Screen Shot 2018-04-20 at 11.29.59 AMThere are three new craft whiskeys available from the Irish distillery.  The Double Barrel Irish Whiskey has vanilla notes from three years in bourbon barrels before being transferred to Oloroso casks for up to a year.  Flavors of raisins, fig, candied peel, cinnamon and nutmeg with a nutty, complex finish.  The 7 Year Old Single Malt has flavors of chocolate malt and roasted barley with cocoa, toffee and dark chocolate-orange notes.  It is finished in Dublin’s Black Pitts Porter craft beer barrels.  The 13 Year Old Single Malt is the first and only Irish whiskey that uses rare Japanese Mizunara oak.  Sandalwood flavors, layered with honey, and citrusy notes.  Suggested retail for the Double Barrel is $29.99 to $34.99; the 7 Year is $54.99 to $59.99; and the 13 Year is $1O9.99 to $119.99.
