NEW WINE ENTHUSIAST IMPORTER CONNECTION SITE

WINE ENTHUSIAST has unveiled its new Importer Connection website – importer-connection.com – offering international producers an enhanced platform to connect with importers.  Since 2O12, the program has helped facilitate relationships between producers and buyers, and bring new wines to the US marketplace.  The new website creates an enhanced user experience designed to optimize the site for both producers and importers/buyers.  Producers can submit products for review by importer-connection.com’s tasting panel, and buyers have access to a comprehensive searchable database of products available.  All qualifying ratings and reviews are published in the newsletter, which is sent out to a database of importers, distributors, wine shops, restaurants and other industry professionals who are looking to expand their import portfolios.  To date, roughly 25% of reviewed wines are now imported.

Among the myriad of site improvements, users can now select their preferred language for the site; language choices include English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and German.  There is also an array of built-in sales tools for the buyer and producer, including easy-to-print sell sheets, shelf talkers, and downloadable ratings badges.  The site continues to cultivate strong partnerships with organizations including ViniSud, ProWein and Wines from France.
