BEER DELIVERY AT THE BEACH? THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT

BEER DELIVERED to the beach via boat? Yes, now there’s an app for that! In August, Klink, a Miami-based alcohol delivery service app, began making beer deliveries by boat to thirsty beachgoers. Users have the option of ordering beverages, including cans of Corona, through any device with access to Klink’s website. According to Klink co-founder Craig Bolz, beer is delivered by boats and Jet Skis, and all operated by licensed captains. There will be an offshore anchored boat facilitating orders and three Jet Skis that delivers beer from boat to beach on demand. All orders will come in a cooler with giveaways as well as sliced limes. Users can actually watch their order come ashore from an anchored boat. There is no additional fee for the delivery service. But before you download . . . you won’t be seeing Jet Skis zipping up to any beaches in New England in the immediate future. Deliveries will be made only at Archibald Beach Park in Madeira, Florida, about 3OO miles from Miami. But next summer, who knows what could be heading up the coast?
