SAMUEL ADAMS NITRO PROJECT

The Boston Beer company has released the first three brews from its Nitro Project: a White Ale, IPA, and Coffee Stout, all in cans. The White Ale is medium-bodied with notes of orange and peppery spice and a light wheat character. The IPA is bitter yet smooth. Amarillo, Centennial, Galaxy, Polaris, Simcoe, and Zeus hops lend resinous pine, citrus and floral notes to the amber-bodied brew. Nitro Coffee Stout has a rich, robust character. Dark roasted malts create notes of chocolate with dark fruit. Sumatran Mandheling and Indian Monsoon Malabar coffee add a deep roast dimension. Available in 4-packs of 15-ounce cans for a suggested retail price of $8.99 to $1O.99.
