PATRON SPIRITS

Longtime President of International Operations and Global COO JOHN McDONNELL has stepped down from the company.  He will be replaced by DAVE WILSON.  McDonnell, who has been in the industry for 3O years, seeks a change and will explore other opportunities.  The rise of Patrón Spirits and in particular its tequila, is often credited to McDonnell’s vision.  In 2OO5 he joined Patrón and was appointed COO.  His responsibilities included overseeing the company’s manufacturing, sales and marketing – including online social media.  In February 2O12, he was elected chairman of the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS).  That same year he was named to the board of trustees at Suffolk University in Boston.
