LONGBOARD VINEYARDS 2O11 SAUVIGNON BLANC and 2O1O POINT BREAK RED – This Sauvignon Blanc from the Russian River Valley has grapefruit and floral aromas, followed by a refreshing mid-palate that leads to a balanced minerality on the finish.  The Point Break Red is the winemaker’s version of a “regional blend” consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and a bit of Merlot and Zinfandel.  Suggested retail is $13.99 for the Sauvignon Bland and $14.99 for the Red Blend.  Available from Baystate Wine & Spirits.
