SAMUEL ADAMS GRUMPY MONK – This Belgian-style IPA combines the traditional spicy clove and fruit flavors of Belgian ale yeast with the piney and citrusy hop character of an IPA.  Copper to amber in color with a smooth medium body, it is balanced by a sweet roasted and cereal malt character which complements the peach and clove notes.  Crisp hop finish.  Available exclusively as part of the Samuel Adams IPA Hop-ology Variety 12-pack which also includes Third Voyage, Dark Depths, Tasman Red, Latitude 48 IPA and Whitewater IPA.  Suggested retail is $15.99.  Available from Atlas Distributing, Burke Distributing, Commercial Distributing, L.Knife & Son, and Merrimack Valley Distributing.
