KENWOOD VINEYARDS 2O1O VINTAGE WHITE and 2OO9 VINTAGE RED
Made with a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, barrel-fermented Chardonnay and a dash of Muscat, this Vintage White has aromas of citrus, lemon zest, honeysuckle, and herb.  The forward flavors are of citrus, herb and mineral in the background.  The finish is long and crisp.  The Vintage Red includes Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Syrah, and Barbera that have been aged in French and American oak barrels for additional complexity.  It has aromas of brambleberry, raspberry, bay leaf, and white pepper.  Brambleberry and raspberry also dominate the medium-bodied flavors, together with toasty oak complexity.  Bottled with screw cap closures, suggested retail for each is $9.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company.
