THOMAS HOOKER BREWING WATERMELON ALE
The summer release of the brewer’s Watermelon Ale is a light offering with a big watermelon nose and smooth finish with only a touch of sweetness.  This year it is “all natural”, and in mid-summer will be brewed using locally grown watermelons from Rosedale farms in Simsbury, Connecticut.  The tag line “Strangely Refreshing” fits the brew perfectly – it smells like a Jolly Rancher, but tastes like a beer.  Available through September in bottles and on draught from Atlantic Importing.  For more information visit hookerbeer.com.
