The latest release from the Wolaver’s Organic Farmers Series is brewed with 1OO% Oregon-grown organic hops from the 2OO9 harvest, and 1OO% American organic malts.  Frustrated that organic hops had to be shipped in from overseas, Wolaver’s set out to find a more local source.  Organic farmer Pat Leavy agreed to grow hops for the brewery and this All American ale is brewed with his organic Fuggles, Goldings and Magnum hops.  Each year the Wolaver brew team, led by brewmaster Mike Gerhart, develops a new recipe based on that year’s hop harvest.  The beer is an amber colored ale with hop flavors and aromas.  Available in 6 packs and on draft from Burke Distributing.
