This estate-grown Rhône wine from Zaca Mesa Winery is now available.  Comprised of 49% Syrah, 37% Mourvèdre and 14% Grenache, the Chateauneuf-du-Pape-inspired Z Three summons familiar aromas of black fruits, baking spices and wild herbs.  The fruit’s long, late ripening resulted in a reserve wine of complexity and fleshiness, ideal for pairing with weightier dishes or for cellaring through 2O13.  Available from Carolina Wine & Spirits.
