MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTEL: DAVID SINGER

DAVID SINGER has been hired as the Sommelier and Beverage Manager at the hotel’s new Boston location, opening this fall.  His responsibilities include creating a hotel-wide alcohol beverage program (not including free-standing restaurants) and training all hotel staff in beer, wine and spirits.  He will also be the Floor Sommelier for the hotel’s restaurant.  In addition to his expertise in the wine industry, David is the founder of Libation Education, a wine consulting and education business, and is a longtime guest column writer for this magazine.  We wish him much success in his newest endeavor!
