COPPER & KINGS

Screen Shot 2017-08-31 at 12.54.32 PMThe Kentucky distiller has released two copper pot-distilled gins: American Dry Gin, using an apple brandy base, and American Old Tom Gin, from grape brandy.  Both gins are double-distilled using no neutral spirits and are non-chill filtered.  Classic gin botanicals are steeped in brandy low-wine and then redistilled together with vapor distilled botanicals in the gin basket.  The company has also released the 2O17 edition of its barrel-aged gin: L’Inspecteur.  Aged for 14 months in an ex-cognac cask, the gin is, per tradition, themed on a cat with an illustrated pink panther.  Suggested retail for a 75Oml of the American Dry is $35 and $4O for the American Old Tom.  L’Inspecteur is $4O for a 375ml bottle.
