BEAM SUNTORY BUILDING BEDS FOR BOSTON CARES

IN MAY Beam Suntory employees from the “Franchise Region” – Massachusetts, Missouri, Wisconsin, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Rhode Island – and folks from BeamSuntory HQ – came together to spend the day volunteering in Dorchester for the Boston Cares Bed Project.  They sanded, assembled and painted over 2O beds for children in need.  These children are either transitioning out of homes or are going to families that cannot afford to purchase a bed.

Boston Cares mobilizes and trains teams of individual and corporate volunteers who strengthen communities and improve the lives of people in need.  Their year-round programs and seasonal service events engage 2O,OOO adults, children and teens and corporate partners who annually volunteer over 63,OOO hours in support of 155+ schools and nonprofits.  It is the largest volunteer agency in New England and an Innovation Hub within the national Hands On Network.  bostoncares.org.
