REGION 1 WINES – From the Lavaque Family, Region 1 wines are produced in Mendoza, Argentina.  This 1OO% Malbec is a deep, dark red wine with violet traces.  It has aromas of red fruit such as plums, cherries and raspberries, with a silky texture on the palate and good acidity.  The Cabernet Sauvignon is dark red in color, with ruby tints.  It is young and concentrated with traces of black pepper.  Suggested retail is $9.99 for a 75Oml.  Available from Baystate Wine & Spirits.
