VALLEY OF THE MOON 2OO9 SANGIOVESE

VALLEY OF THE MOON 2OO9 SANGIOVESE – Aged in small oak barrels for 18 months before blending and bottling, this wine is a blend of 83% Sangiovese, 12% Syrah, 3% Merlot, and 2% Barbera.  It has aromas of raspberry, Framboise, cinnamon, and a hint of herbs with raspberry and black cherry flavors that are accented by baking spice.  Suggested retail is $16.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company.
