2OO5 BODEGA SEPTIMA GRAN RESERVA
This Gran Reserva from the Luján de Cuyo area of Mendoza near the Andes Mountains is a blend of 55% Malbec 34% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Tannat.  Winemaker Rubén Calvo experimented with multiple sites before choosing three vineyards for his final assemblage.  The result is a complex, aromatic wine, with an elegant integration of oak and fine tannins.  Bottled in December 2OO6, it is ready to drink now.  Suggested retail price is $25.
