Pete Carr has been promoted to President, Control States Diageo North America. Prior to this, he was General Manager of Diageo’s Florida Cluster. In this position, Carr will be responsible for leading Diageo’s strategic agenda across the Control States for US Spirits. Carr will also represent Diageo as liaison to the NABCA and serve as a member of the Control State Industry Steering Committee. With over 18 years in the beverage industry, he has touched many aspects of the business ranging from Trade Marketing Manager for Smirnoff Vodka to launching Red Bull in the US. Prior to his role as GM for the Florida Cluster, he was General Sales Manager for Diageo-Guinness USA’s South Region.
