IT WAS REALLY just a matter of time: A Colorado brewery is testing the limits of making beer with marijuana. Dad & Dude’s Breweria recently introduced two cannabis-infused beers at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. The beers won’t get you high because they don’t contain THC, which would be forbidden by federal law, but they will include alcohol and cannabidoil, or CBD, which is produced by the cannabis plant. “Finding a legal hemp oil was difficult. Locally cultivated cannabis is not legal for brewers, yet,” said brewery owner Mason “Dude” Hembree. He added that his new Sativa IPA and Indica Double IPA beers “will be loaded with cannabidoil”.
