WINEBOW MERGER

FINE WINE importers and distributors Winebow and The Vintner Group have agreed to merge their operations to create The Winebow Group, LLC with a combined distribution network covering 14 states and Washington DC.  The company will distribute wine and spirits under the Winebow Distribution name in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC; as The Country Vintner in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC; as Stacole Fine Wines in Florida; as Quality Wine & Spirits in Georgia; and as Martin Scott Wines in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.  Vintner Group chief executive David Townsend will lead The Winebow Group as President and CEO.
