HEAVEN HILL DISTILLERY

 Master Distiller CRAIG BEAM will be moving into a consultancy role in order to spend more time with his father.  Last year, Beam’s father, long-time Master Distiller PARKER BEAM, announced he was battling ALS.  Craig Beam was thought to be his father’s replacement – he now operates from home – but will continue with all his normal duties.  After Heaven Hill announced Parker’s illness, the family-owned distillery said its Parker’s Heritage Collection 2O13 release would benefit the ALS Association in the Parker Beam Promise of Hope Fund.  The goal was to raise $25O,OOO.  The distillery community also chipped in, donating whiskey for a special bottling “Master Distiller’s Unity” bourbon at WhiskyFest New York.
