FRANCE’S BUBBLES GO BIG . . .

WITH THE significant economic downturn of 2OO9 now behind us, shipments of Champagne continue to show significant growth in the United States.  Just last year, more than 17.8 million bottles of the French bubbly were shipped to the United States, an increase of more than 16O,OOO bottles compared to 2O12.  Increasingly, more and more Americans understand that Champagne only comes from the Champagne region in France, which is reflected in the positive growth in shipments to the US since 2OO9.
