BUZZBAR COMING TO A FREEZER NEAR YOU

ALCOHOL + ICE CREAM = a match made in heaven.  While this may sound too good to be true, it is in fact a reality that we Bostonians can now sample firsthand.  BuzzBar, a new alcohol-infused ice cream bar for adults, recently launched in Massachusetts.  Each bar is made with all-natural ice cream, organic dairy and whole food ingredients, no high fructose corn syrup, and a blend of spirits for a flavorful buzz.  The six premier launch flavors are The Buzz Café: Coffee Ice Cream and Irish Cream, Blitzed Berry: Strawberry Ice Cream and Rum, Bourbon Street Chocolate: Chocolate Ice Cream and Whiskey, Citrus Berry Drop: Raspberry Lemon Drop Sorbet and Lemon Vodka, The Drunken Cookie: Cookies ’n Cream: Ice Cream and Bourbon, and Vanilla Daze: Vanilla Ice Cream and Cognac.  Additional creations will be announced later this spring.  The Los Angeles-based brand is focused on having the bars distributed at high-end hotels, clubs and music, movie and sports venues across the country.  Current retail locations include Patriot Place’s Showcase Cinema de Lux in Foxboro.  Suggested retail price is $7.
