EXCELSIOR WINES

JOHN DOUGHERTY has been named National Sales Director.  The appointment represents the first in a series of new initiatives and structural changes underway following the recent appointment of MARC GOODRICH to serve as company President.  He will assume responsibility for the ongoing development of Excelsior Wines’ Sales Division, which currently accounts for a total of five regional managers, plus 3O district managers nationwide.  Dougherty, who brings to his new position over 2O years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry, joined Excelsior Wines in 2O11 as Southeast Region Manager.  Over the past two years, he has overseen growth of an entirely new sales operation in the Southeast.  Prior to joining Excelsior Wines, Dougherty spent two years with Palm Bay International’s Genesis Estates division and six years at E&J Gallo Winery.
