BOWMAN LIMITED EDITION PORT FINISHED BOURBON

BOWMAN LIMITED EDITION PORT FINISHED BOURBON – In October 2O11, four used bourbon barrels that had held at Bowman Brothers Bourbon since 2OO7 were given to a winery in Fredericksburg, Kentucky. The winery in turn aged its port wine inside these barrels for 15 months. The barrels were then returned to A. Smith Bowman in April 2O13 and filled with bourbon that had been made in March 2OO1.  The bourbon was finished inside the port barrels for an additional four months.  Suggest retail for this 12-year-old bourbon is $7O.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company.
