BAYSTATE WINE & SPIRITS ACQUIRES WINEBERRIES

New Hampshire broker Wineberries has been acquired by importer and distributor Baystate Wine & Spirits – expanding their footprint in New England. Wineberries was founded in 1998 by Chuck Saunders. No staffing or operational changes are scheduled and Saunders will continue to manage all sales and marketing efforts. Baystate Wine & Spirits was founded in 2OO5 by Ed and Rob Gillooly. Peter Lucas joined the firm as a partner in 2OO9 when it was decided to expand into Rhode Island, and Oceanstate Wine & Spirits was founded. Baystate and Oceanstate now operate in 3 states. Baystate also has an import division and sells to other distributors throughout the East Coast and parts of the Mid-Atlantic States.
