SAMUEL ADAMS SUMMER ALE and SAMUEL ADAMS BELGIAN SESSION

SAMUEL ADAMS SUMMER ALE and SAMUEL ADAMS BELGIAN SESSION – Brewed with lemon zest and Grains of Paradise, the medium-bodied Summer Ale is crisp and lemony with a hint of spice on the finish.  The Ale yeast adds a tropical fruit note while the peppery taste from the Grains of Paradise imparts a distinct yet subtle bite.  The Session is a fresh, bright version of a traditional Belgian beer with fruity, slightly spicy flavors from the Belgian yeast that blend with the subtly sweet toffee and caramel notes that come from a blend of honey and pale malts.  It is brewed with Hersbrucker and Ahtanum hops with Strisselspalt hops added late in the fermentation process.  Medium-bodied with a 4.3% ABV, it has a clean finish.  Both beers come in 6-packs and are also part of the Samuel Adams Summer Variety 12-pack which also includes the Boston Lager, Cherry Wheat, East-West Kolsch and Noble Pils.  Suggested retail is $13.99 for a 12-pack and $7.99 for a 6-pack.  Available from Atlas Distributing, Burke Distributing, Commercial Distributing, L. Knife & Son, and Merrimack Valley Distributing.
