AUCHENTOSHAN LOWLAND SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

 and the United States Bartenders’ Guild are running the “Auchentoshan Switch” contest that will take one US bartender to London and one UK bartender to New York City.  They will literally switch jobs and countries for two weeks (US bartender goes to 69 Colebrooke Row in London which is home to the Drinks Factory, one of the only bar-related drinks labs in the world.).  All it takes – initially at least – is a video entry.  Bartenders have to upload a video of themselves making a lemonade (this will show their knowledge of the sweet/sour balance) and an Old Fashioned cocktail using the Auchentoshan Three Wood.  All video entries are due by August 31 and must be entered at auchentoshan.com/switch.  Judges will review the videos and the top 2O contestants (in the US) will be flown to Las Vegas in October for the final showdown.
