PRESENTS 2011 RETAILER OF THE YEAR AWARDS TO ABL MEMBERS

CYNTHIA GREEN of Greenwood Wine & Spirits in Wakefield, MA was presented the 2011 Retailer Of The Year for Massachusetts. New to the industry, Cynthia Green purchased an existing liquor license in June, 1995 and relocated and opened the business as Greenwood Wine & Spirits on December 1, 1995.  Her previous business experience was gained in the financial and retail industries.  She is proud to support the community – in which she has grown her business and raised her four children – through fundraising events and working with local organizations.  She believes in being vocal and is involved in organizations, such as the Massachusetts Package Store Association, which works toward protecting small business interests and has been successful in educating consumers and rallying retailers on political issues. Each year ABL receives nominees from state affiliates to be named “Retailer of the Year” from the state or region. Retailers are selected by each state affiliate based on their all-around performance and for involvement in industry and community activities during the preceding year.
