BECHEROVKA LIQUEUR

Pronounced “beck ur OHV kuh”, this bitter herbal liqueur from the Czech Republic is now available in the US.  Created in 18O7, the golden amber liqueur is a blend of more than 2O exotic herbs and spices with aromatic oils, alcohol and mineral-rich water.  The recipe is known today by only a handful of individuals.  On the palate, Becherovka is sweet at first, with hints of dark honey, followed by the spice of cinnamon, clove and ginger, unfolding into a slightly bitter and pleasant finish with hints of orange peel.  The launch is being supported with POS materials, including a dual-sided recipe tear pad and necker.  Table tents are available for on-premise.  Available from United Liquors.
