SAMUEL ADAMS WINTER CLASSICS

This year’s Winter Classics release includes the original Samuel Adams Boston Lager, Winter Lager, White Ale, Chocolate Bock, Old Fezziwig Ale, and Holiday Porter.  The Winter Lager is brewed with orange zest, cinnamon and fresh ginger.  The White Ale is an American version of a classic Belgian white ale.  An exotic blend of 1O different spices, it is unfiltered, resulting in a cloudy haze from the malt proteins.  The Chocolate Bock is made with a blend of cocoa nibs, roasted malts and a variety of hand-selected hops.  This dark beer has a big, malty character with the added sweetness of chocolate resulting in complex aromas and flavors from chocolaty to fruity, nutty, earthy, and citrusy.  Old Fezziwig Ale is also filled with spices of the season – cinnamon, ginger and orange peel.  The full flavor has a deep malt character ranging from sweeter toffee and caramel notes to the darker, roasty chocolate notes.  The Holiday Porter is a flavorful brew made with a special blend of four malts that balance the English Noble hops.  Suggested retail is $13.99 for a 12-pack.  Available from Atlas Distributing, Burke Distributing, Commercial Distributing, L.
