Aged in small French oak barrels, this limited-edition offering combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec with a small but significant percentage of Syrah.  It has opulent aromas of cassis, black cherry, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla, with different facets emerging as the wine aerates.  Black cherry, black plum and white pepper flavors meld seamlessly.  The mouthfeel shows impressive viscosity that contrasts with elegant weight on the palate.  While drinkable now, this wine will continue to evolve in the cellar over the next few years.  Suggested retail of $54.99.  Available from Horizon Beverage Company.
