GLENFIDDICH 5O YEAR OLD
William Grant & Sons Distillers has released a version of the liquor that will sell for $16,OOO, making it the second-most expensive in the world. Glenfiddich 5O Year Old, the family-owned company’s most expensive whisky ever, will be released in 5OO individually numbered, hand-blown glass bottles adorned with Scottish silver and packaged in leather-bound cases. William Grant had aged just two casks of the single-malt liquor since the 195Os. The whisky will be distributed in 5O-bottle lots over 1O years, selling at airports for two months before moving to other retailers. Available from
