BOLS GENEVER

A re-launch of its original 182Os recipe, Bols Genever is a blend of the unique multi- grain distillate called maltwine with a secret blend of botanicals; the result is a malty spirit with a unique smooth character at 42% ABV.  Genever is a proper spirit category and has been a cocktail ingredient for nearly two centuries.  In 2OO7 Genever was awarded AOC status and can only be named as such if produced in Holland and a few neighboring areas.  Bols Genever took home the Best New Spirit award at this year’s Tales of the Cocktail.  Suggested retail price is $38.95 for a 75Oml.  Available from MS Walker.
