VOLVO OCEAN RACE

Grey Goose Vodka was the official spirit sponsor of the Volvo Ocean Race which was hosted at Boston’s fan Pier from April 25th through May 16th. For the three weeks of the event Grey Goose was served at all public concession areas as well as at private events. A Grey Goose VIP tent was set up and showcased with area bartenders every Monday night. In accordance with the nautical theme, four signature drinks were created: a Grey Goose Cape Fizz, L’Orange Boston Breeze, Le Citron Sailor’s Choice, and the La Poire Port of Call.
The race takes place every three years and is one of the world’s most formidable nautical adventures. It began on October 11, 2OO8 in Alicante, Spain and takes over 9 months to complete, covering over 37,OOO nautical miles with stops in 11 ports around the world.
