2OO6 VALLEY OF THE MOON SYRAH

A blend of two appellations (6O% Sonoma Valley 4O% Russian River Valley), this Syrah has forward aromas of lavender, black cherry and blackberry, accented by cedar complexity.  Blackberry, black cherry and earth dominate the mouthfilling flavors.  The two lots were aged separately in small French and American oak barrels for 18 months and blended – along with a tiny percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon – to produce the wine.  Suggested retail is $16.
