ARTESA VINEYARDS & WINERY

ARTESA VINEYARDS & WINERY has appointed MARK BERINGER as its Vice President-Winemaking Operations.  Beringer comes to Artesa after spending 14 years at Duckhorn Wine Company first as an enologist then as the Director of Winemaking.  Beringer began his career at Raymond Vineyards in Napa Valley as a cellar worker.  Since that time he has garnered two Winery of the Year titles from connoisseurs guide to california wine and has been named four times Regional Winery of the Year by wine & spirits. The third generation of his family to make wine in California, he is also a descendent of Beringer Vineyards founder, Jacob Beringer.
