SINGLETON OF GLENDULLAN

This 12-year-old Single Malt Scotch whisky has a rich, smooth character derived from a combination of whisky matured for 12 years in both American Bourbon Oak and European Sherry Oak casks.  Hailing from Speyside in northern Scotland, it incorporates the region’s signature tastes and aromas of toffee, spice and roasted nuts.  The distillery, located in the historic whisky-making town of Dufftown, was the last of nine distilleries to be built in the area, making it the “malt whisky capital of Scotland”.  Founded in 1898 in a wooded valley along the banks of the rivers Dullan and Fiddich, Glendullan combines water from both rivers descending from the high wooded hills above the distillery with locally grown malted barley to create the Scotch’s gentle, grassy nature.  Available this fall, retail is $35.99.
