Jim Evans, a 17-year industry veteran who most recently served as Sales Vice President of the company’s Central Division, has been promoted to the national role of Senior Vice President, Sales. He will join the company’s Executive Committee based at thier headquarters in Purchase, New York. In addition to directly managing the company’s spirits sales, he will use the leverage of the spirits portfolio to advantage Pernod Ricard USA’s wines and champagne business with distributors, while providing counsel and support to the Wines team as needed. Ted Roman, Evans’ predecessor, will support him in his transition until March 31, when he will leave Pernod Ricard to pursue other interests.
