CONSTELLATION BRANDS

ROB
SANDS has been
named Chief Executive Officer in addition to his existing
responsibilities of President and COO. He takes over the
position from his brother Richard Sands who will remain
Chairman of the Board. Also, JOSE
FERNANDEZ will be
promoted to the new position of Chief Executive Officer for
Constellation Wines North America, which includes the
company’s Constellation Wines US and Vincor Canada
operations. He was previously Chief Executive of
Constellation Wines US. Rob Sands joined Constellation 21
years ago as general counsel. In 1993, he was appointed
Executive Vice President and general counsel, and was
promoted to CEO of Constellation International five years
later, after the company’s acquisition of Matthew Clark PLC.
From 2OOO through most of 2OO2, he was group president over
both the UK operations and Canandaigua Wine Co. He was named
Constellation’s President and Chief Operating Officer in
December 2OO2. As a result of changes involving the Sands
brothers’ roles, KEITH
WILSON has been
promoted to the newly created position of Chief
Administrative Officer. Wilson was Constellation’s Executive
Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
