MARTIGNETTI COMPANIES

ED GAVAZZI, Warehouse Manager, Taunton Wine & Spirits for Martignetti Companies retired on December 27 after a 71-year career with the company. He is the longest-serving member of Martignetti since its founding 116 years ago. Hired back in 1954 in one of the original stores in the North End, Eddie began as a stock clerk and went on to a number of roles in the management of the warehouse and delivery operations throughout his career. He served in leadership positions in all of the facilities from the first warehouse in Watertown, to Cambridge, West Roxbury, Norwood and most recently in the Taunton headquarters. Congratulations to Eddie on his longstanding career and well-earned retirement!
