THE PASSING OF MICHAEL MCHENRY, GENERAL MANAGER OF COLONIAL WHOLESALE BEVERAGE

Colonial Wholesale Beverage General Manager Michael McHenry passed away on June 7, at the age of 58, after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Fall River, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University. Michael began his career at Fall River Gas Company before joining Colonial Wholesale Beverage, where he spent the last 32 years. Throughout his life, Michael also dedicated his time and talent to many volunteer organizations, including the United Way, Fall River Junior Twilight Baseball League, St. Julie Billiart Parish Finance Council, Town of Dartmouth Youth Commission Board, Diocese of Fall River Marriage Preparation Program, and the Knights of Columbus (Fourth Degree). Michael enjoyed traveling with his family, Corvettes, photography, golf and Irish whiskey. He leaves behind his wife of 32 years Jana (Vincent) McHenry; daughter Jillian (McHenry) Howarth, son-in-law Christopher Howarth, and daughter Caitlin McHenry.
