COPPER & KINGS AMERICAN BRANDY CO.
The Kentucky distiller has released two cordials: Destillaré Café and Destillaré Chocolat. Both liqueurs use an aged Copper & Kings American Brandy base, have no added artificial colors or flavors, are non-chill-filtered and are sweetened with honey. Café is made with certified fair-trade cold brew made from Arabica coffee beans added to the aged brandy in the barrel and aged for six to nine months, along with Madagascan vanilla beans, cardamom pods and coffee beans in the barrel. The spirit is then diluted to proof using coldbrew coffee instead of water. Chocolat uses a similar process, but with added Caribbean cocoa nibs in the barrel, also for six to nine months, and then diluted with a custom steeping of cocoa nibs in reverse osmosis filtered water. Suggested retail for each is $35. AVAILABLE FROM MS Walker.
