AB INBEV BRANCHES OUT

Looking to capitalize on craft’s momentum, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) will establish a new business arm for beers in the US in a move to expand its presence in the growing beer market. To be based in Chicago, the proposed unit will offer brands such as Goose Island and Blue Point. Commenting on the new business unit, AB InBev North American division president Luiz Edmond said that the new unit places the company in closer touch with urban consumers, their way of thinking, lifestyle and the accounts they visit.
